Design for manufacture

Material selection

We recommend materials based on strength, cost, thermal resistance and environmental durability. From reinforced plastics to lightweight alloys, we help you find the right balance.

Low-pressure injection molding

We build quick-turn molded prototypes in house. These production-like parts support early testing and design verification without full tool investment.

High-pressure injection mold part design

Tool-ready designs include gate planning, draft, wall thickness and parting lines. We collaborate with mold shops to reduce revisions and keep tooling on track.

CNC and machined part design

Our mechanical engineers design for tool access, finish quality and post-processing, ensuring parts are manufacturable across low and mid volumes.

Engineering for harsh environments

We design to meet MIL-STD-810, IP65 and similar standards. From vibration to chemical resistance, our designs are validated against real-world stress.

Ingress protection and sealing

We define gasket profiles, compression specs and hardware paths to keep dust, debris and water out. If your product needs to pass an IP or MIL-grade test, we’ll help you meet the mark.

Thermal management

Thermal loads are managed with airflow planning, heat sinks and material selection. We design to maintain safe temperatures in hot environments and sealed enclosures.

Consumer product and packaging design

We balance ergonomics and strength to design for handheld and packaged devices. Designs are built to perform in real environments and feel right in the hand.

Electrical integration

We make room for electronics from the start. Layouts support connector clearance, board fit and signal integrity with grounding and thermal considerations. That means clean integration and no surprises at hand-off.

Fully defined CAD models

We provide CAD in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Creo with parametric assemblies and detailed part files. Every design is documented for manufacturing, validation and traceability.

Manufacturing drawings

We provide callouts, tolerances and material specifications in a format your vendors can use the first time. Revisions are tracked and documentation is complete.
